I checked on my new queen in the nuc today and she is finally laying which is a relief as it's taken her three weeks to get going. I was concerned that she was not going to be ok as she had been in her cage for a number of weeks before I got her. There is still a way to go as winter is just around the corner and they need to get their winter stores well underway.
